Breakfast is supposedly the most important meal of the day. Well, we feel that every meal is important! Your body needs a continued source of fuel and to get that fuel, you need to eat the right foods throughout the day, including lunch and dinner.
Think of your dinner as a balancing act at the circus. Imagine that if you had too much of something, for example fat, then it would topple over onto the floor. To create a plate that will maintain its balance, you need to eat a variety of food to get all the nutrients you need. We’ve used our Salmon Niçoise salad as an example, so let’s get technical:

The B6 vitamin is present in potatoes.
Vitamin C and antioxidants are supplied by tomatoes.
Green beans offer a good source of vitamin K and fibre.

Tip: If you’ve got a workout planned then you’ll need extra glucose and energy so try adding a slice or two of seeded whole grain bread on the side.
