We are very excited that it’s now asparagus season! Here are some tips to celebrate this tasty, green vegetable.

How to cook asparagus: You’re not short on methods, you can grill, fry, sauté, boil, oven-cook, barbeque and steam this tasty green vegetable.

White Asparagus is more difficult to find in supermarkets, it’s more tender and has a milder flavour than the green.

Asparagus benefits include a good source of fibre, folate, Vitamins A, C, E and K as well as antioxidants.  

It’s a vegetable that is distinct in flavour yet compliments many dishes, quick to cook and simply delicious!
