Brand New Meals to Brighten Your Monday

We’re ready to kickstart not only your Monday but your week! The EatFirst chefs have been getting creative in the kitchen, to offer you a menu that’s bursting with brand new dishes. This week enjoy Winter warmers, healthy snacks, sweet treats and a dish that’s loved by Londoners. Discover what’s available and a sneak preview of the meals you ought to watch out for this month below…  

Kabocha Soup - Our homemade creamy soup is sure to warm you up this Winter. A blend of roasted kabocha squash, miso and ginger form the soup base, finished off with spring onion and our savoury toasted nut mix, for a bit of crunch. Served with a slice of freshly baked bread and a touch of miso butter.

Chai Spiced Protein Balls - Chef Jane's homemade protein balls are infused with chai tea spices and contain a blend of pistachios, almonds, coconut and apricots. They're gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, protein rich (6g per serving) and have no added sugar, making them a delicious, guilt-free snack!

Lemon Protein Balls - Chef Jane's homemade protein balls were inspired by the classic lemon and poppy seed cake, so you can enjoy the flavours you love with none of the guilt. A unique blend of dried apricots, almonds, cashews, poppy seeds, and lemon. They're gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, protein rich (5g per serving) and have no added sugar, making them a healthy and delicious snack!

Mascarpone and Honeycomb Mousse - Our mascarpone and crème fraîche mousse is infused with orange, lime and Grand Marnier. Topped with an orange-passionfruit jelly and homemade honeycomb.

Spicy Flat Iron Steak - Aged flat iron steak is marinated in pepper and ginger, chargrilled and served medium. On the side is a fresh baby spinach and sesame salad and a mix of pickled vegetables.

Shepherd’s Pie - Everyone's favourite comfort meal but with the EatFirst twist. Chef Benn's Shepherd's Pie consists of British lamb mince in his homemade sauce, before being covered with creamy mashed potato. Served alongside is pickled red cabbage. "It has a combination of rustic nostalgia and freshness, with lots of root vegetables, fresh mint and rosemary." - Chef Benn Hodges.

Watch out for…

Edamame With Chilli And Garlic - Edamame is wok seared with ground chilli and garlic. A healthy snack that will cure your craving for something with a little kick!

Short Rib Ragu Tagliatelle - British short ribs are braised in a rich tomato and red wine sauce until fork tender. The meat is then hand shredded and tossed with fresh tagliatelle. Served with lemon zest and parsley, ready for you to sprinkle on top.
