Saturday marks the beginning of the Chinese Lunar New Year which will be celebrated by people all over London, especially in the iconic street of ChinaTown. Each year is associated with one of the five elements as well as an animal - 2017 is the year of the Fire Rooster.
To create a celebration around the new year, chef Benn Hodges has created a delicious four-course menu inspired by visits to the Far East. The centrepiece is a roast Peking duck leg, served with orange infused fennel, chantenay carrots and truffle gnocchi. Alongside Xion Lamb Udon Noodles, chilled Edamame and Kimchi Shrimp Rice.
